The family grows

Well hello there…

I’ve decided to use this little corner of the internet to write about the LIFE side of my daily work life balance. If you are coming over here from the WORK side, welcome.

Last year after 4 years of wishing, hoping, thinkin, and prayin we welcomed our first son. It’s been everything we have dreamed of and more. Now we are taking all of our very active lifestyle and adapting it to an 8 month old! We have always been “experience” minded over things, and now we want to share all of those great experiences with him to make even more memories. He’s been to his first music festival, on a few flights and later this year we plan to embark on our first international adventure (which may be the best or worst decision we ever make - to be determined).

I’ve been a little disappointed with the number of resources that I’ve been able to find about maintaining your current life with children. It seems like all of the mom bloggers have beautiful recommendations for home and your space, but … practical advice for seriously bringing your kids everywhere? Not as much. I have some friends going through similar life stages that have been asking me for my lists and resources, so while i’m going through and cataloging my recommendations for them, I’ll add those resources here in case others can benefit from them.

I also generally want to pick back up blogging that isn’t all corporate and business written like an SEO machine. So I’ll keep other life musings here.
